At Clontarf Beach State school we recognise that students learn at different paces and offer enrichment programs that are designed to broaden educational experiences and provide challenges to engage students in their learning. Enrichment programs are implemented across a variety of platforms including the classroom, extra-curricular activities and specialised programs such as IMPACT. The IMPACT program is delivered online by the IMPACT Centre in partnership with Clontarf Beach State School. The program is designed to enhance Literacy, Numeracy, STEM and Critical Thinking. The program is delivered over 12 consecutive school weeks for an hour each session. Students are offered a place in the program as an extension activity. Students participate in a weekly web conference – delivered by a specialist online teacher from the IMPACT Centre and a teacher from CBSS and weekly website activities.
